Making it through the holidays when you’re grieving
It can be a difficult time as we approach Thanksgiving, Advent, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve after we’ve lost someone we love. It can be a lonely time, or a time when many memories surface.
It’s important to be with others who care and support you, and to know you’re among others who are on the same journey, walking along the same path, grieving losses and trying to find our own way.
You’re invited to come to a special gathering on Tuesday, December 17, at 1:30 pm in the Commons at Emmanuel. We will meet for an hour, discuss grief and the holidays, and ways to make the journey easier.
Anyone who is dealing with grief is invited to join us. Please sign up at the Connect Center or the church office or you may call the office and add your name to the list. 754-6548
