Come Celebrate Love…
At the 20th Annual Youth Dinner and Silent Auction on Saturday, February 15.
Our theme this year is “I Love Memphis” and we are celebrating our love of the 901 and Valentine’s Day.
This event is a well-loved tradition at Emmanuel! It’s a night full of great food and opportunities to bid on quality items, services, and experiences, all while supporting the youth of EUMC. Proceeds from this event go toward youth accounts, helping offset costs for spiritual retreats, service trips, and other youth ministry activities!
We would love your participation! Here are some ways you can get involved:
- Be sure you Save the Date! Saturday, February 15, 2020! Mark it on your calendar, make plans to attend and purchase your reservation!
- We are doing our reservations a little differently this year: Seating will not be assigned. You can still ensure your friends can sit together by purchasing a full table (8 people) for $175 in advance or you can reserve individual tickets for $25 (paid in advance or at the door).
- You can make your reservations by filling out the form below or visiting the table in the narthex between worship services or by calling the church office starting Sunday, January 26.
- You can ask your favorite local restaurants and shops if they’d be willing to donate any goods or services for us to auction off! Or perhaps you have access to potential auction items through your employer/friends/neighbors. There are donation forms available on the table outside the front office.
- Call up your Sunday school class, your Bible study, small group, or family and friends to put together a basket to be auctioned. Basket ideas include (but aren’t limited to):
- Tailgate Basket- cooler, ceramic bowl, hand towels, party plates/napkins, assorted dips, chips, salsas
- 901 Experience Basket- Memphis Zoo passes, Grizzlies T shirts/hats, Tigers blanket, BBQ sauces and seasonings, Arcade restaurant gift certificate
- Coffee Lovers Basket- selection of local coffees, artisan mugs, gift card to local coffee shop
- Donuts Delights- Donut Gift certificate, Gibson’s mug/shirt, other donut themed items
- Get Out and Golf Basket- rounds of golf from local country club, Golf hat or visor, a dozen golf balls, golf towel, club cleaning tool, bag of tees
- Treat Your Dog Basket- food/water bowls, treats, dog toys, boarding/health exam gift certificates
- Movie Night Basket- collection of popular movies, movie theater gift cards, popcorn, candy, blankets, etc.
- Anything that you would want to purchase would probably make a good auction item!
