Emmanuel’s second annual Memphis Missions in May Day is coming up on Saturday, May 19, 8:30 a.m. – Noon. We will spend the morning in service to our local community in Memphis.
Kick-off during Sunday School
Before the Mission in May Day, we will have a kick-off in the sanctuary on Sunday, April 29, 9:45 a.m.
Representatives from Thistle & Bee and Hannah’s Hope will be speaking about their ministries and the difference they are making in women’s lives.
Eyleen Farmer will speak about Thistle & Bee, a local organization that provides living wage employment for survivors of human trafficking by the manufacture and sale of products made from honey and herbs produced in their apiary and gardens. There will be a display table of Thistle & Bee products for sale such as granola, herbal blends, teas, etc.
Jessica Lott will talk about Hannah’s Hope, an adoption and pregnancy counseling organization that supports mothers all over West Tennessee. Hannah’s Hope has a new initiative this year called ‘circles of hope’.
